Naace Strategic Conference 2011 - Clash of Dates

Colleagues,
I am sure many of you have been alerted on Friday that the Education Show will run from March 17-19 next year. This represents a clash with our event which will run from 15-17 march, with the traditional exhibition on Weds 16th in the afternoon.
As you can imagine this news was not the best for us at the end of last week! In our very early consultation with EMAP these were not the dates they gave to us.
So - what to do?
We have confirmed speakers for our event and have confirmed space with our venue, as such it is now too late to change the dates.
Having given the matter much thought, on Friday afternoon and over the weekend, what we think we can do is play with the Weds programme to start, and hence end, the exhibition earlier to afford time for you to decamp to the NEC, for those of you who generally attend both events.
We would look to start the exhibition at approx 10.30am and run through to 2pm. This gives the same amount of time and may ensure better attendance as the bulk of the days programme will come after the event. The general format of the day will be as follows:
9.00 - 9.40 Choice Group A breakout - 1 from 6 - first run through
9.50- 10.30 Choice Group A breakout - 1 from 6 - second run through
10.30 - 2.00 Exhibition with coffee, lunch, sweets and coffees.
2.00 -3.00 Keynote
3.00 -3.40 Choice Group B breakout - 1 from 6 - first run through
3.50 -4.30 Choice Group B breakout - 1 from 6 - second run through
4.30 - 5.30 Keynote
7.00 Drinks reception and Gala Dinner
We could run the Sponsors feedback meeting at 2pm or 3pm - whichever folks consider to be the most appropriate.
